Marian Perera

Marian holds a Certificate III in Hospitality and Hairdressing and her career in the Hospitality arena began when she joined the Hansen Street Children’s Centre in 2011. Marian’s passion revolves around cooking and she views the children at the centre as her strength. She has a big heart for the welfare of the children and enjoys interacting with them. Marian always strives to ensure the best possible services are delivered to keep the children happy and healthy.

As the Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety Champion at Hansen Street, Marian is committed to deliver an exceptional service to the children and staff by ensuring best Health and Safety standards are in place within the centre.

Marian was born and raised in Sri Lanka and migrated to Australia in 2008 with her husband and 2 teenage children. Marian loves the multicultural nature of Melbourne and her interests include spending time with her family, baking, cooking and gardening.
